WPK sponsors handball club WPK/Westlandia for 3 extra years!
In 2013, Handball Association Westlandia and WPK entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement, which changed the official association name to ‘WPK/Westlandia’. Not only the association name has changed, but also the annual school tournament and open handball tournament are linked to WPK. Last week, WPK decided to extend its contract as name sponsor for three additional years.
“We are very pleased with WPK’s confidence,” said the club’s board. The support of WPK contributes to the goals of the association, giving members the opportunity to play handball at their own level.
Erik and Eviek van der Arend, management of WPK, are enthusiastic about the association: “Our daughters play handball at WPK/Westlandia and we felt at home with the association from the start. Handball is a physical and fast sport that we enjoy watching. We are also touched by all the people who voluntarily put a lot of time and energy into the association. With our contribution we want to support the association and its volunteers.”
