‘s-Gravenzande 2 is ready!
The Platycodons have been deployed, the logistics process has been arranged down to the last detail and a team of WPK toppers is in the starting blocks. In other words; ‘s-Gravenzande 2 is ready to be put into use!
The greenhouse, located next to ‘s-Gravenzande 1, has been renovated with all its might for months. Almost only the skeleton has remained intact. For example, the new cultivation location is equipped with silos and water units and the ebb and flow system has been installed. In addition, the former pipe rail system has been replaced by a condensation network. This ensures that residual heat can be used. The icing on the cake is that the two locations in ‘s-Gravenzande at Aaksterlaan 6 and 10 are connected by a corridor for optimal cooperation.
We are very happy that we have had an additional cultivation location since mid-February. In this way we create more space – and at the same time opportunities – for House & Garden and the cultivation of our different types of vegetable and pot plants can be centralised. Logistically speaking, this is significant progress.
Our team of hard workers has been expanded with two employees who have worked for years at Gebr. P. and R. Zwinkels, the party from which we took over the cultivation location. So, familiar territory for them.
